Accommodation is available via estate agents* and private individuals alike. One of the best sources of information are the local newspapers with quite a few printed in English. The following are informative and good reading as well. Most are fortnightly.

Island Connections. Priced at around 120 / 200ptas from newsagents and supermarkets, one of the most popular and informative papers around. I couldn't survive my holidays without this publication. It has a holiday guide, which I hope to bring you extracts from if I get permission from the publishers, plus many interesting articles in respect to island living etc. Try this paper, you won't be disappointed.

The Paper. Free and sponsored by JMC and others. Available in bars etc.

The Canarian. Free in many hotels, costs 150 ptas at newsagents.

Tenerife News. Free

Here & Now. 50 ptas at newsagents, free in hotels.
